Good morning, everybody. It’s Hieu Bui with HBI Home Solution here. I’m just going to show you guys one of the flip property that we’re working on, right at this moment. This property is on Burney Street in Athens, GA. We do buy houses around the Augusta area as well as the Athens area in GA. Let me flip this camera around and show you what we’re working with here. So we still have a lot of stuff going on around the house, but it is much cleaner than when we bought it. So we have been working on the paint. This is the kitchen. We have a new sink going in and we’re going to have the dishwasher and also the appliances go over here and here as well.
So, we brought the property as is, and we did not ask the seller to do any fix-up, so we can do it ourselves. This way the seller is able to walk away from the house pretty quickly and don’t have to worry about anything. We got things done by pretty fast too. We closed on this house within 20 days.
So, this is the bathroom, still, a work in progress, but you can see, we have new cabinets going in, which need a little clean-up. This tub here, we still have to finish it, still, a work in progress. But I think after we clean it, it’s going to look real nice. And, new floor going in, it used to have carpet all the way around, but we replaced the floor with luxury vinyl and fresh brand new carpets in the bedroom. You can see the nice huge windows we have. And, another bedroom right here with carpets.
The great thing about this is we were able to buy as is and allow the seller to move on with their life pretty quickly. So we show you… This is the laundry room and the backyard. There used to be so many bushes around and we had to cut down. I’ll show you the outside so you’ll know what I’m talking about.
So when the seller sells the home, they don’t have to move anything out. It’s just leave the house the way it is and we all go in and we take care of all the rest. As you can see we still have the finishes that need to be put on the light switch, power plates, and a few little details.
I’ll show you the outside. We have a contractor working today, doing a good job. You can see the dumpster. Just show you how much trash we have in it. We just finished the whole front yard. There used to be a lot bushes around because the people who live here not take a good care of it. So, all these bushes need to be removed and trying to make the curb appeal as good as possible. So we repaint the outside of the house as well, maybe nice white and black contrast. But, just with the rain constantly in Athens, it’s difficult to get any painting done correctly.
